This is my all time favorite, The Beast. We've been friends since I was a teenager.

And here is his son, Son of Beast.

Anyone want to meet up next summer at King's Island in Ohio and try 'em out?

Sarah, we should definitely set up an AR day at Kings Island :)  I'm just shy of an hour and a half away, so I'm there!

Been there, done that!  Jen and I did that bunji swingy thingy too.  I think she was like 11 years old.  I screamed like an idiot the whole way.

Kelly - I'm about three hours away, but I'd be there!  We LOVE it and missed it this year!  (And I can usually score free tickets if I ask nicely!)  :o)  Alright, let's pick a month.  I'm booked most of July.  How's June?

Chris - Care to join us and do it again?  How about Drop Zone?  Ever done that?

My daughters birthday is the last weekend in June, but other than that I'm wide open :)

I'll do it again, sure.  My favorite park is Cedar Point in Sandusky, oh.  Now there's a park.

I've done it all Coop.  Frick, I even jumped out of a perfectly good plane.

I love Roller Coasters!  I think you should do it more towards the end of summer (figure mid-May....6 weeks of 'rest' then some time to hit the gym)

I think Rob should drive Sardi & me!

Tom - I'd hold your hand.  ;o)

Ann - I could do August instead.  Kelly?  Chris?  (Rob, bring 'em and I'll hold your hand, too!)

Chris -  Will August work for you?

Sarah - I would certainly love to attend an AR get together as long as I am not required to ride the Beast or Son of Beast.  I was actually thinking of arranging something myself.

Ugh, I hope you have a great turn out. I am sorry to say I will be at a closing, but you must post pictures to see the fun times had by all.

I would love to come, where in Ohio is it. But, you'll never see me on a roller coaster, so I'll be the photographer. Just plan far enough in advance so we don't book other things.

Sarah,

Sign me up for the rollercoaster!!!  I was in Ohio last year but didn't make it to Cedar Point.  That would be so cool for an AR get-together.

Sarah, I won't ride a coaster but would love to watch all of you ride.  I'll be eating  funnel cakes and riding the park benches while you ride the real rides!

There used to be a stand up coaster there called the Bat I think.  It was only there a couple years.  It was banned.  Of course, I rode it.  I remember taking my son on the Beastie?  I think that is what it was called.  One of the best times of our lives.  Ahhh.. the log ride..

Sarah.... is that Kings Island in Cincy Ohio?   I have been there twice before and that could be a fun trip. Keep me posted.....  but isn't this a far trip for so many?  Could be worth it.....

Did I read that someone said they would love to go but that they have a closing that day?  A settlement?  That far in advance? And there hasn't been a date picked as of yet?  Or was I just seeing things....  ;o)

Hi Sarah:  I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my ride on "The Beast."  Those old-timey roller coasters with the two-track rails and the wooden railings and framing are so much more fun than the newer all-metal ones.  Just the rickety-rackety noise that they make while the ride is going on adds so much to the enjoyment of the ride.  Did you actually take that video ?  This reminded me of my childhood days in Cleveland Ohio when we kids would go to Euclid Beach Park and ride the Thriller and the Flying Turns.  They also had a double-roller coaster... two trains running side-by-side... all the way from start to finish.  It was called the Racing Coaster.  Lots of fun... good memories from long ago.  All of Euclid Beach Park was torn down long ago.  I think the only thing that remains is the twin-towered archway that was the entrance to the park.  Thanks for sharing your cool post with us.
