This 27th day of December brought with it a number of promising surprises. Three separate buyers chose today to inquire about a number of homes in the area. I can't help but wonder whether it's a portent of things to come. Certainly promising at the very least.
This has been an extraordinary holiday for me on so many levels. It gave me a chance to spend time with my three favorite fellas in the world. My predilection for younger men was amply assuaged when I got to spend an afternoon with two gorgeous guys who, miraculously, only had eyes for me. What a gift! And it wasn't even Christmas yet.
When the actual holiday came, I lost some of my charm to the lure of tinsel and wrapping paper, but managed to make an unexpected comeback in the most unusual and unexpected way. When all was said and done and I had nothing left to give that would excite anyone under the age of 18, I worried about my last gift to "the boys." Dreading the moment, I handed my five year old "date" a card and a small green box. Not one to hide his feelings, he boldly told me the day before that the movie I got him was not on his wish list and to please take it back. So you can imagine my trepidation as he opened the last little box. He gasped at his gift, dancing around the room, exclaiming, "this is the best present." Hand outstretched for the world to see, he continued, "my very first credit card," waving it in the face of his attentive audience. Who knew?
And how was your holiday?
