As the year comes to a close, I look back at all that I have accomplished this year and I'm looking forwards to a new year. 

This year I have become better at what I do, I have gained an Short Sales and Foreclosure Certification, taken the first part of the Graduate Realtor Institure certification (only two more classes to go), started on my Bachelors degree at University of Central Florida (only three years to go there!).

I have made new friends, found new customers, gained new perspectives, learned about myself and the compassion of others. 

I have become a much more avid blogger, much of the motivation for that has come from ActiveRain, the AR Community is wonderful and if I ever run out of material and hit a writers block, I just read others posts until I have thought of something more to write. 

I am not yet where I would like to be with my real estate practice. I would like to reach more people and get buyers off the fence. I have a passion for what I do and believe that my persistence will pay off in the end. 

I think my experiences in real estate during these difficult times have helped me prepare for the future. I have pursued further education, become more social and made more meaningful connections, learned how to balance when peoples personal feelings about homes conflicts with what the market is doing. It has been a great year and I look forwards to making 2012 even better.
