We are expecting rain tomorrow (a slight chance of snow).

I really can not imagine snow yet, but that is another story. Today I took a drive to visit the home of 2 different clients that are under construction and the colors were incredible! I was lucky to have my camera with me so I took a couple of pictures of our area in Albemarle County.

This photo is an area where I have a client building a home in Ivy, Virginia (5-10 mins from Charlottesville).

BTW, that is the famous Virginia Red clay...

These are some of those Famous Fall colors we have near the Blue Ridge!

This is an outstanding tree that I just had to stop and take a picture of....

More colors.....I hope you enjoyed these as much as I do?

We are at peak here this week and it is surprisingly beautiful since it was predicted the leaf color would be minimal,Karen

Charles - beautiful images.  I had been accepted to UVA for law school years ago and ended up going elsewhere.  Probably a colossal blunder on my part.  I would probably have stayed in Charlottesville if I had given myself a chance.  It is a great area.

Hi Charles...Love the photos.  I posted some of Lake Anna this morning.  I mentioned that we were not supposed to expect great color this year but we've been very happy with what we have.  Being not very far from you, we're pretty much experiencing the same great colors.

I'm from California and we don't have the change in seasons like you do.  You are so blessed to have such a wonderful season.  My husband is from back east and he tells me that the best season is fall!  Thanks for sharing those photos with us.
