10 Comments on Home Color Trends for 2012: Protect and Preserve
Warm tones are always the best neutral color for all. Thanks for sharing.
This is very cool. I love the break down in colors, feelings and how it can play into homes. Thank you for the well thought out post. I will refer back to it, could be a great piece for my marketing packet. hmmmm
Good stuff Lisa. I am about growth and becoming a better person. I do like embracing heritage and process. Only preservation to a certain degree. I like keeping older things functional and love preserving homes. However, to many folks live wanting to recreate a past which never actually existed. Have a great 2012.

Lisa, this is good information, and ideas I had not heard of --- GREAT post...suggest!
Very interesting! I find it fascinating that the mood of the times is reflected in the colors and the names of colors. I will have to pay attention!
Thanks everyone for the comments and suggesting! Have a wonderful New Year.

I heard somewhere recently, that the signature color for 2012 was going to be Tangerine Orange. I think folks are looking for something to bouey their spirits! That color won't work in my house unless I change absolutely everything however! Guess I'll need to wait for next year:-)
