Learning how to navigate through the storms of life is a very good idea. We are motion machines equipped with intelligence and designed with above average capabilities (debatable at times, I know). Wherever we go, there we are and we are designed to supervise, maintain, direct and prevail no matter what is thrown our way
ADVERSITY BUILDS US UP
Good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger the
wind, the stronger the trees...(pearls for the soul) PFS 6.14 NAGGAR
THE CAPE HORN
Many sailors got their christening when crossing the Cape back when Britain ruled the seas. The cape was a short cut and came with one catch...the stormiest weather and conditions to be found for a weeks time in exchange for saving months off your journey.. This trip will put salt on your bones. It was considered a rite of passage
COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PROCESS
Problems while journeying here on earth are quite normal and designed to enhance and strengthen. Avoiding or ignoring them makes us more susceptible to them as they become bigger and more frequent. We must become greater, not them
GETTING IN THE BULL RING
If you want to take on bulls, you got to get in the bull ring. There you will take a beating. You will learn about bulls that no book can teach you. After a while, you will have tales to tell based on experience not folk lore. The meaner the bull, the better for you. At some point, you reach the BULL FIGHTER status.
THE MATADOR
After gaining in the ring the essence of the lessons to be learned, then repeating and refining them, you reach the point where the mean bulls don't MEAN what they used to do. They didn't become any weaker, you became stronger...A MATADOR...
LIFE IS NO DIFFERENT
Adversity is never pleasant, but sometimes it’s possible to
learn lessons from it that can be learned in no other way. (pearls for the soul) PFS 5.2 NAGGAR
