In 2007, the San Marcos luxury condos were priced and sold from $350,000 – $450,000. Now? About half the price at $189,000 – $239,000.
The two- and three-bedroom units with 1,350 to 2,050 square feet have 10-foot ceilings, 8-foot doors and granite counter tops. The homeowners association monthly dues are $135 and that covers all exterior maintenance and basic cable service, according to the developer.
