Is the Superior Court of Rancho Cucamonga Wasting Taxpayer's Dollars?

A local consumer rights activist was arrested for entering the Superior Court of Rancho Cucamonga after filing a complaint against a court security guard. The activist, a law school graduate with no criminal history, appears to be the victim of a retaliatory arrest, an increasingly prominent abuse of the legal process, which costs taxpayers countless dollars per year. Despite evidence that the activist was arrested under a false warrant, and in retaliation for filing a complaint against the guard, an overzealous District Attorney has filed charges against the activist for "restricted entry" into the courthouse and has chosen to prosecute what several attorneys have called "a silly case" that should have been dismissed long ago. The City's prosecution of such "silly" cases diminishes the public's faith in the legal system and costs taxpayers thousands of dollars that could be used to benefit the residents of Rancho Cucamonga.
