December 29, 2011^ Day 29
It seems like just yesterday when we started this challenge and I didn't know if I would make it all the way through, but so far so good. I am thankful for the challenge and must say it has truly helped me to get a jump start into 2012. When I talk to people they say "this is your slow season, right?" and I say no, absolutely not, I've been busy.
Here's what I did today:
- I left the house at about 9:30 and headed to Midtown Atlanta to meet with my client to sign paperwork. We went over the paperwork and discussed all the people she knew how wanted to buy a house and the possible referrals. She told me about a co-worker who wants to do it by hisself in an effor to save money, of course I told her to have him call me or give me his number so I could call him.
- I then drove to Jonesboro to drop off the paperwork and earnest money to the listing agent.
- I expected to have lots of free time on my hands. I planned to use this time to balance business as well as enjoying down a little down time for myself. On the schedule today was having lunch in Suwanee with a old friend who I haven't seen in a few years it was schedule and I made it happen.
- I had a great time at lunch then it was back to work my phone was literally ringing off the hook with clients wanting to see the subdivision, so I drove to Lithonia and showed the homes. I was there until about 6:30 before I headed back to my home office in Snellville.
In between that were the phone calls to several clients to provide status, discuss new business and a follow with my first-time buyer who closed yesterday. I have 3 new leads from today and I add then all to my database and sent them emails to thank them for their time. I also tweeted about my showing and received a response from a previous co-worker, who wants to work with me when she relocates.
Hope this challenge has been as good for you as it has been for me and happy selling!
