4 Comments on Showing Property After Dark * If they CAN'T SEE IT * They will WANT to Come Back ANYWAY!
I do not like showing property after dark and rarely do. If I do have to show a property after dark, it will be someone I know very well and have a relationship. Never a blind showing.
So true~ and if there are two people purchasing and only one of them is there you will be back. You will be back even if the one you are showing the home to in the dark hates it. The other one will still want to see it. Save your time take both out during the day when they can see the home in all its glory.
Great advice, thanks for reposting this I missed it before
I completely understand your point about working with your client. But, I also balance that against safety concerns for my agents and, and the reach of Fair Housing laws, and it is just plain simpler to make a blanket rule against showing homes in the dark.
Mark * I agree * having a policy about showing properties in the dark or after hours is BEST. I'll schedule a showing during someone's lunchtime and grab a salad on my way home!
