loan Officers going into Real Estate offices

I'm looking to start going into some Real Estate offices to try to build some referral partners.  I'd like to put together a flyer or news letter to bring into the offices with me with some current mortgage information.  What I'd like to know is what information do you Real Estate agents find most useful.  What information would you like to have to be able to either just know for yourself what the current trends are or to be able to pass along to your clients?  I would really like to put something together that will have some value to give to the agents I make contact with and that won't just get tossed in the round file as soon as I hit the door.  What have other loan officers done that cought your eye and made you want to refer your clients to them?  Thanks in advance for all your ideas!

Gift cards for food work well! :)

I'm just kidding (sort of). To be honest, I can get things like rates anywhere. What I want to see from a LO is some idea that they have a clue and will *execute* QUICKLY and keep COMMITMENTS. Hard to put that in a flyer. What I'd rather have is a business card and a 15 minute chat. Beats a rate flyer any day.

But that's just me

Geoff,

First off, make sure that you are welcome to the office to begin with...simply walking in can pigeon hole you as the annoying one. I've found that the best way to network with agents is through "Affiliate Groups", such as your local Association of Realtors Affiliate Group. Paper...no one needs more of that...especially agents!

Just my input :)

Love the input on this from the Real Estate Agents!  I too am going to implement this area of marketing into my arsenol for 2007, the one area I really haven't gotten into.  So, my fingers are crossed and the rate sheets are in my circular file.
