Things to Do in Alameda
Things to Do in Alameda, a few things I forgot to include in my Things to Do in Alameda post yesterday. The first installment of the Alameda Point Antiques Faire will be held on January 1, 2012. It is the largest antique show in Northern California and is held on the first Sunday of each month. 800 dealers participate in the monthly event featuring vintage clothing, home décor, furniture, jewelry, art, pottery, books and collectibles.
Things to Do in Alameda includes “Dance Like a Star” on The USS Hornet’s New Year’s Eve celebration December 31 from 7:30 pm to 1 am. There will be tons of things to do, fireworks visible from the Flight Deck, a gourmet buffet dinner and free parking. 3 O’Clock Jump is a 16 piece classic Big Band which plays music originally played by Count Basie, Glenn Miller and Harry James.
Things to Do in Alameda is all about events for the whole family to enjoy in Alameda. I write about Things to do in Alameda every Friday, so if you like what you see here, please come back for more or visit me on Facebook.
