Springfield Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, or just Springfield, is located just 10 miles from the city limits of Philadelphia.  It is home to the “Golden Mile” which was one of the busiest commercial areas outside of Philadelphia at the beginning of the 20th century.  This section of Baltimore Pike is still a thriving shopping area and is surrounded by a very well estabhlished and desirable residential area.
