Just under a month ago - actually,
it was only 17 days ago - we launched
WestbrookVillageRealEstate.com, a comprehensive guide to real estate and life in Westbrook Village, an active adult community in Peoria Arizona. We started
with a bumblebee scheme adapted from Century 21's official colors, before taking
Mary McKnight's sage advice and switching to a far softer look.
Unlike my other
two sites, I held off on beginning a reciprocal linking campaign partly out of curiosity and partly out of sheer laziness. Instead I focused on a handful of high quality links from my this blog, from my
primary blog and from my primary website.
Here are the results to date ... again, it's only been 17 days since the pages were uploaded and the site went live:

You may be asking how effective an Internet marketing campaign can be for an active adult community. But given the minimum age is down to 40 in some areas (frighteningly, only three years above my current age), and the increased use of the web in real estate, I believe it's only a matter of time before the
Westbrook Village Real Estate site helps us gain significant market share in the area.
Next up for the site ... an increased library of real estate articles (our own personal wiki, if you will) and an IDX-based MLS search.

Stellar results there JD! I'm not so convinced that recip links are all that critical for a "niche site" like this.
And we've had LOTS of folks looking for active adult communities find us on the web..
Go for it! (Just keep it on the west side pal!)
