Each venue brings many thousands of participants to southern Utah at once and depend on local volunteers to ensure a successful outcome.

Parade of Homes
The Parade of Homes is held in mid February every year. Over 30,000 people come to view
this spectacular showcase of homes which offer the latest in design. These homes vary in size and price and offer a wealth of ideas for building and decorating for everyone. Sponsored by Southern Utah Home Builders Association.

Dixie College Invitational Art Show

One of the finest art shows in the west and is shown at the Eccles Fine Arts Center on the Dixie State College campus. Art from artists from the western states are invited to showcase their art.

This event known as the "Friendliest Festival in the West" is held the Friday and Saturday of Easter Weekend and hosts a wonderful variety of art and artists from all over the west.
You'll find food, entertainment and special children's fun. This street show is held at the St George City Park on Main & Tabernacle. St George Blvd and Tabernacle. Presented by the St George City Leisure Services.

Blue Moon Festival & Pottery Sale

AUGUST
Washington County Fair
Annually held around the first week in August at the state-of-the-art Washington County Fair Park
in Hurricane. This family fun event features carnival rides, games, festive food, entertainment,
award-winning crops and livestock exhibits.
Enterprise Corn Festival
The Enterprise area is noted for its productive farms and gardens. Excellent corn is grown both
commercially and privately in this area, and the people take pride in their crop. When it's time to harvest, they celebrate at the end of August in the town square with a weekend selling fresh,
succulent corn on the cob, playing games selling crafts, exhibiting quilts and plain old fashioned fun.
SEPTEMBER
Dixie Lions Round-up - Mid September
Join the Lions Club for the annual rodeo celebration at the Sun Bowl in St George. Approved by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association, this wild weekend extravaganza is held the second
weekend in September. Great entertainment for all.

Santa Clara Swiss Days
On the last Friday and Saturday in September, the small town of Santa Clara celebrates its
Swiss heritage - based on early pioneers that settled the town in 1861. The event offers an array
of events including historical displays, a fun run, craft and food booths, and much more.

St George Marathon

5,000 + runners come from all over the world to participate in the 13th largest marathon in the US. It begins in the majestic Pine Valley Mountains and descends nearly 1,600 feet through scenic sandstone cliffs and ancient lava flows to the center of St George City. Runner's World lists it as one of the "10 Most Scenic and Fastest Marathons."

A world-class, international senior athletic event, the HUNTSMAN WORLD SENIOR GAMES offers 22 sports for men and women ages 50 and better. All skill levels of competition are available, and no pre-qualification is necessary. The Games will host over 7,000 athletes from as many as 50 countries who will be treated to fine entertainment, social activities, life saving health tests, and great competition!
A very popular competition for thousands of athletes 50 and better from all over the world, which promote worldwide peace, health, friendship and fun. Offering 26+ sports, healthy lifestyle seminars, critical health tests, socials and spectacular ceremonies.
Cycling, softball, swimming, tennis, bowling, racquetball, track & field, basketball, golf, horseshoes, table tennis, duathlon (cycling & running), basketball free-tree and 3-point shoot, soccer, volleyball and road racing events are all included in the sporting competitions. Call for applications.

Jubilee of Trees
Tour a magical wonderland of custom-designed and beautifully-decorated Christmas trees, holiday wreaths and collectibles created and donated by area organizations, businesses and families.
Special features include a teddy bear picnic, fashion show, western concert, gala auction and more. Proceeds benefit the charitable purpose of Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Dickens' Christmas Festival
Step back in time! The sights and sounds of 19th Century London come alive at the Spectrum's Dickens' Christmas Festival in the Dixie Center. The Festival is not just another craft show, but a unique and unusual entertainment and shopping experience. Guests wind through narrow village streets as they shop for their gifts and rub shoulders with a cast of Dickens' characters such as Tiny Tim, Scrooge, Oliver, and even Queen Victoria and the "real" Father Christmas all combine to offer our guests a Christmas experience like no other! The Festival is known for its unique gifts and quality merchandise.

Tuacahn’s Festival of Lights & Live Nativity Production Thanksgiving thru January 1st
Thousands of twinkling lights greet you as you approach the parking lot of the Tuacahn Amphitheater. This annual event takes place every evening except Sunday from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day at the Tuacahn Center for the Arts in Ivins. The show features a touching, live nativity scene and re-enactment of the birth of Jesus. The scene and the show definitely inspires you in the true spirit of Christmas. www.tuacahn.org
First Night
Main Street, St. George City’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. The best in in family-friendly fun and entertainment. Non-alcoholic, community celebration which includes street mimes and clowns, games for children, swing music, hip hop tunes and more filling the streets with festive music. Great food can be found at the food booths. Spectacular fireworks welcome in the new year in great style.
