Okay, the points are just fun, and my screen capture only shows 555,554 (I couldn't find any way to get that 1 extra point). Encouraged by David Popoff, I did some cataloguing this morning to see my stats...from a customer perpective, and believe it or not, I have over 274,000 clicks to the combo of my profile and my blog posts.
I wanted to get a snap shot at the beginning of the year...so I can compare the results next year as well as see the progress I've made.
So, I found that my blog posts have been viewed 254,421 times (I measured the CLICKS on the statistics page). And, then, my profile page has an additional 19,793 views. (Now, if only I could separate out the hits from me). Wow, that's a large number, especially since I've only been here for 1.5 yrs. That's over 15,000 clicks per month.
Yes, I've been an avid participant here. I have close to 1,100 blog posts (I have 50-60 drafts). I've learned a ton here - both about markeing and real estate (so it helps me better interact w/ agents). And, of course, I've made so many wonderful friends (who in turn have given me tremendous advice(.
But, what's better than the points and the clicks is what they lead to...real business. I averaged a bit over 3 appointments a week during 2011 becuase of all this (not to mention some of the local agents and other relationships I've made/built and jointly grew our busineses. My goal for 2012 is to increase this 3 appointments a week to 4, so wish me luck.
One of the great things about blogging is that your blogs are here forever, and you are constantly building on them. I have tons of them and for various long tail and short tail searches...and I have many more ideas to write about. Hoping that the combo of Active Rain and my new Wordpress site (TheFlooringGirl) and all the SEO learning I've gained here, that 2012 will be a large growth year for me.
My goal is to grow my biz +25%, and Active Rain and blogging (and linking) is a big part of that.
What do your stats and results look like? How can you use those figures to make 2012 a much bigger year?
