Suspect arrested in NYC Slaying of Realtor® to the stars- Linda Stein

The personal assistant of Realtor® to the stars Linda Stein has been arrested.

This is a follow up story from my original post Linda Stein- New York Realtor® to the stars.... murdered.

Stein 62 her body was found by her own daughter face down in her upscale Manhattan penthouse appartment on October 30th. Formal charges were pending against her personal assistant Natavia Lowery....said police spokesman Paul Browne. And I quote.... "She "made statements implicating herself" in the killing, he said. An autopsy concluded that Stein died from blunt forced trauma to the head and neck.

Stein was a pioneer in New York's punk music scene. She became a fixture at the legendary CBGB club in Manhattan and also co-managed the punk rock band The Ramones. She eventually got them over to England where they had a great following. Her ex husband Seymour Stein was the former president of Sire Records. They remained friends after they were divorced. Sire Records was the launching pad for the Ramones,Madonna and the Talking Heads.

Eventually she quit rock 'n' roll scene years after and became a Realtor®. With her connections in the entertainment industry she stayed friends with many celebrities such as Madonna, Sting, Billy Joel, Steven Spielberg and Angelina Jolie. With that she capitalized on those relationships and they eventually became her clients.

My condolences goes out to her family and friends.

That is very upsetting to hear. Espically by someone that she worked with.

Neal, you never know what is going to set someone over the edge, it will be interesting to find out what drove her assistant to committing such a violent act.

Hi Neal, I just read the NY Times article about this. The Assistant said that she was unhappy working for Linda and had been verbally abused, etc. If that's true, then she just should have resigned instead of killing her (of course, we know this isn't the first, nor will it be the last, case of an unhappy employee resorting to violence). Oh my goodness, this is really something. I really hate that the daughter found her. That must be really traumatic. I can't even imagine that. I really feel for her family.
