Over the holidays lots of people are warming their hands around a glowing computer monitor, peering in to our many ME real estate marketing sites.

mooers realty real estate marketing sites

The places we load up the ME real estate area, property shelves with colorful, appetizing arrays of across the board listing types, prices, locations.

But the folks I feel bad for are the ones flying home from Maine, across the country today.

Your invited or uninvited guests, the in laws, out laws that you hoisted the egg nog with over Christmas, New Years Celebrations or family get togethers.

Sampling the peanut brittle, home made fudge, lasagna and ribbon Christmas candy as the holiday season comes, goes and that's a wrap.

All becoming history.

Right on schedule.

Hope no one is flying with a pilot like this one as they head home video.

Happy New Year and look forward to serving all your Maine real estate needs with expert service in 2012 and andrew mooers houlton me real estate brokerbeyond. Maine, lots more than just a state parked up here in the right hand corner of the country.

Watch our local Maine community movies, our ME real estate videos.

Maine, wake up and start dreaming standing up.

Travel to Vacationland in 2012 and see what you have been missing on big time.

All the stuff the tourist brochures don't touch on. That gets left out that the native Mainers can show you, tell you all about that are hidden jewel, gem life altering experiences. Maine, it's all natural. Uh Uh... Nope. Nothing man made about it.

Start really thinking, no longer just seeing things in black and white but brilliant cobalt blue, vibrant lush green. And explosions of fall foliage colors of reds, oranges, browns, yellows courtesy of Mr Jack Frost. Headlining in concert, unplugged with Mother Earth as a opening act that makes your heart hum, sing. Your big toe to move, tap up and down in a very good way. Maine, the way life should be. Get here quick as you can.

Andrew--I love your humor.

BTW  My family loves fruit cake and may order another one in January.  (I had to add this.)  And I remember ribbon candy and hard tack.  Haven't seen ribbon candy in years, but we buy hard tack every year.

Happy New Year.

Mary ... Forgot the fruit cake. If its moist, fresh, they are good. But I've had dried out versions that were hard, not so much fun. And ideal for scattering over a bottle like slippery icy driveway. For traction when hopping in the Jeep to list and show, twist and shout. Thanks for cruising in.

Okay, Andrew, here's the deal if you get a fruit cake for Christmas send it to me.  In return I will personally salt your slippery driveway.

BTW We learned how to make fruit cake the old-fashioned way.  The rum cakes were the best.  Now we order them from bakery in Texas.

It would be wonderful to have a vacation property in Maine.  Living there full time might be even better.

Happy New Year!
