Investors are giving us a much needed It had to happen sooner or later. Wilkes-Barre, a market being infused with investor cash for a few years now, has been screaming for someone to provide this much needed service for a while now. Investors have been doing a great job of buying up the bargains that abound in this town that was founded in the days when "coal was king" and the rail system carried more than just freight. The problem began to arise when those investors decided to hang onto their investments and rent them out.

Property Management isn't just a For Rent sign and collecting rents. It's easy to buy a property from afar and flip it. It's much more difficult to manage a rental property from afar. The old addage, "the mice will play while the cat's away" is very true when dealing with rentals. You need to be able to make your presence known when you're managing a property. The city of Wilkes-Barre has been cracking down on absentee property owners, requiring them to register their properties and designate a property manager thatt he city can contact to resolve issues with the property. This has caused many problems for would-be out of state landlords and has birthed a real need for a quality property management company.

I'm proud to say that I am a part of the solution to that problem. We have started a new property management company, R&R Property Management, in Plains, PA. We are able to service clients throughout Luzerne county and have already signed contracts with 5 different owners, giving us a total of 20 properties in the first two days of operation. We have contacts with contractors for repairs, lawn maintenance crews and can provide property management on many different levels to satisfy our clients' needs.

We have decided to provide this service solely to those property owners who are clients of Realty World, Rubbico Real Estate. So, if you are an investor hoping to cash in on the opportunities in Wilkes-Barre's vibrant real estate market, but are hesitant because of the requirements of City Hall, you can rest assured that we will be able to provide you with the service you are looking for both before and after the sale of your property. Call today to find out more about the services we offer.

I just returned from a 10 day trip back east and stayed in Kingston, venturing into to Wilkes Barre near daily. I was a guest of one of the Wilkes University Trustees and had a marvelous time. Glad I saw your post. The weather was great for most of the trip and got to see the color changes in to Poconos.

I can well understand why so many many that live there call it home. A wonderful community and one that is showing signs of change and growth.

William,

The next time you're here you'll have to look me up. I live in Kingston, but Wilkes-Barre is my market. Thanks for the comment.

Bridget,

Thanks very much. We're hoping this will help solidify our position as the final destination for investors in our area. Thanks for the blessing.

I think it is a great idea in this market, Andew. It is needed for those people that have to rent when their home won't sell. I am tired on checking on vacant houses, turning on heat etc.

Missy,

It was long overdue. We are getting a lot of calls asking for property management right now, but are just offering the service to real estate clients at this point. I can see that this will be quite large in no time at all.

Andrew,

I've worked with a couple of people managing properties in and around Wilkes Barre and they are wildly successful.  I've been able to help them with investment financing for their clients.  They love this because I help their clients buy even more properties for their dollar.  This means more units to manage for you.  I'd love to talk to you about it.  Feel free to give me a call sometime.

Rafael,

I do have a couple of properties in Nanticoke. How about giving me a call on my cell phone and we can discuss your needs.
