Thank God For The Brits

We get a lot of vacationers here in Central Florida and most are form overseas. Lately I have seen a big jump on my website from UK clients. With there strong currency its no wonder they are over here looking for properties. Just yesterday i had another client call to say he wants to buy and he has cash to boot. Those are the two things a Realtor likes to hear (I want to buy and I will pay cash). If this is the new British invasion, then I say I all for it. This is an excellent market for all buyers including our friends from across the pond.

Hi Steve, did you join the "Vacation and Second home" group? If not, please do, and post this there. It will be of interest to the people in that group and I am sure that there are posts there that will interest you too. The exchange rate can certainly benefit us all! (except when we go over there).

This is a good place to focus! We have a lot of european visitors in my market too.... I'll have to focus some of my marketing toward attracting these cash buyers from europe!

Overseas buyers are seeing the wisdom in buying in the States, where they can obtain not only a favorable exchange rate but also benefit from huge property inventories and reduced prices.

Good luck mate! My very first sale was a British couple. It was only $50,000 but they bought and sold more properties for over $1,000,000. Don't get knackered stick with it!

I agree. More and more "foreign nationals" are looking at our market. Yesterday we had a condo developer call us to arrange loans for 4 foreign investors. And a few of my realtor friends are having some success doing some drip marketing programs for this niche.
