Apparently I am responsible for one of our fellow Active Rainers - Jay Thompson - getting a sleepless night and going on a mission for a world record!  Now - I enjoy my sleep.  I really miss it when I don't get enough sleep.  And I really hate it when it's someone else's FAULT! 

So, if Jay likes his sleep anywhere near as much as I do, I can hear him cursing the day I joined Active Rain and had the temerity to contemplate a charge for the #1 spot in Arizona! 

Apparently I made my way unnoticed on to page 1 - and was within hailing distance before Jay ROARed back onto Active Rain.  I believe it may have been due to another Active Rainer - Jonathan Dalton - who I lunched with a couple of weeks ago - or it may have been due to me posting an innocuous comment in one of Jay's earlier Blogs alerting him to the rumble of "The Marriott" on the move!

I did not anticipate he would forego sleep for 24 hours - or more - to announce his return to the ring - I mean - rain.  And thus, the guilt!  Oh, the shame of it all!  How could I do this to a fellow Rainer?  So, for my own sake I must take him to lunch to talk "live", not podcast, once he has recovered.  It will give me an opportunity for a bit of shameless recruiting!
