Buyers:
We will "hold your hand" through the entire DVC Resale. This includes explaining in detail how the DVC plan works and determining with you the best ownership for your families needs. We will council you on the Right of First Refusal price point and prepare and submit all contracts to Disney. Once your new ownership has closed and is recorded, we will make sure your new membership number is received and that the new points you are purchasing are in your DVC member account. At that point, it is time for you to schedule your vacation. Yea.
Sellers:
Please do not pay any company a fee to list your ownership. This is not an acceptable practice and tends to be employed by marketing companies who can show you a lot of traffic on their websites but do not produce sales. These are gimmicks to get your money. If a company wants money up front for an appraisal or for advertising cost, please do not conduct business with them.
Also, please make sure the listing agreement you are signing is an "Open" listing, which means you can list with as many brokers as you like with no penalties for canceling your listing at any time. Let the best company "EARN" your commission by producing a legitimate buyer who has a deposit in escrow with a title company. This is how a Real Estate Office looking out for your best interest would operate.
