Last night as I was writing out my “to do list” for the day I glanced outside to see snow flakes falling to the ground. I hadn’t factored the snow into my goals for the day, and for a brief moment, I thought – I could just stay home and work twice as hard the next day.
I woke this morning to the sound of my six year old dancing around the house because school was canceled and there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. Don’t you just love the way fresh snow makes everything glisten?
Although my daughter was making a very convincing case for why we should stay home, we proceeded into the office so that I could knock out my list. Only one last item on my list: go door knocking to share with neighboring homes a price reduction had occurred. Surely I could do this on a warmer day…? It was 18 degrees (or felt like it)!
After taking my daughter home to be with my husband I headed to the neighborhood, in the bitter cold to knock on doors.
I confess that most homeowners were not home, but the one that did answer the door has invited me to give a listing presentation on Sunday at 2PM. How about them apples! Not a bad for a snow day. Glad I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone.
