Hopes and Dreams in One Little Perfect Package

In the past 24 hours, I became a grandma for the second time and the feeling is as exciting as the first.

What a wonderful way to begin the new year with all the promise and hope that comes with a new baby.

We thank the Lord for our blessings and are so grateful for the beautiful gift of life.

My son put together a short video and the first 35 seconds are precious between big sister and new baby, if you'd like to take a look.

Living 2000 miles away is difficult - but my sons are spread out between 3 states and I'm in a fourth. Thank goodness for technology, SKYPE, camera smart phones, online camera hosts, and fast airplanes.

Can't wait to hold her in person.

Happy New Year Glen - I have a feeling big sister will have a lot of memories captured! Her daddy currently encourages incorporation of technology into education at his school, and the school hands him all the new gadgets so he can show how to use them in daily life, teaching, and for fun! It's a nice sideline to his job and he loves working with the iphone, ipad, tablets, apple tv, etc. It's amazing what big sister could operate on her own at 18 months of age. There's alot of "will" to see a personal video of yourself with a child that age. A lesson in itself...
