San Jose is growing up and its spending lots of money in the process.  In this post, we zero in to the Evergreen Hills community of San Jose to explore the $3 million dollar master plan at Fowler Creek (a.k.a. Fowler Creek Park).  Nestled in the Evergreen Hills and bounded by several top Evergreen schools including Tom Matsumoto Elementary school, Chaboya Elementary school, and Evergreen Valley High  the Fowler Creek Expansion is by far one of the most exciting projects in this Shapell anchored community.

Here's a sneak peak of the ongoing development.  As we can see in this video, the new park developments are well underway and carries a hefty price tag.  With a $3 million budget what can we expect ?  Well, as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" so we should get plenty...but here some benefits just to name a few:

  • Community center and play areas
  • Hilltop, picnic and tennis areas
  • Park and playground for children and kids
  • and lots of open space for open recreation

Not only would Evergreen residents benefit from the new recreational opportunities but this is also a value added development that would help increase home values in the long run.  Evergreen can now boast another social outlet to their fast growing community and excellent school system.

More details about the Fowler Creek Park development can be found at Fowler Creek Park Friends Website.  We'll continue to provide updates with more videos to keep up with the ongoing progress....
