28 Comments on Take pictures with your smartphone and create a floor plan. Seriously? It's the Magic Plan
Good Evening Pacita:
This is quite an interesting app. I will check it out. Thank you for sharing.
Ava --- you and me, both!
Jordon --- I know of a service that creates floor plans from pictures, but it's a heck of a lot more expensive than this app.
Robert and Lisa ---Not a bad time to switch since nearly all new app seems to be geared for iphone use
Lloyd -- there are so many of us who seem truly eager to try out this app. Seems iike a really cool tool for realtors.
Pactia thanks for the heads up! Time to grab the phone and add the app!
John --- this will be a cool tool for that new listing. Please post your results.
I did not find it for my Android phone. Is it available on other phones besides IPhone? Thanks!
Jordon --- I updated the post to say that it's only available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad. Is it time for you to switch?
Pacita - Thank you for sharing detailed quality information on take pictures with your smartphone and create a floor plan.
Now that is a practical and useful info thanks. I can use all the practical support can get.
The concern I have is for those who intend to do bad with it. Could you imagine a "perspective client walking around your place taking pics, then phone creates a floor plan and they have now properly stalked your place for a robbery or worse?
I dont know if there was no evil in the world then I would jump on the band wagon and say I LOVE IT how cool. Since there are adn this almst gift wraps your or others place for them its scary
John --- whether or not we use this is at least one option I'm glad to have. Just knowing about this technology makes me feel good.
Tim --- we all need help one way or another
David --- no more scary than posting pictures on the MLS showing where the windows and doors are, and what type.
Hi P... I actually saw this from a repost of your blog. Very cool... thanks for sharing. ;-)

I'm STILL doing it THE OLD FASHION WAY - graph paper, sharp pencil and scan to pdf for EZFLOORPLAN to give it to me a "finished" plan!
I'll check this out!
Fabulous. But when will it go Android? Androids are a huge segment of their potential market.
Pacita you got me all excited at 6am but I own a Droid.... might be time to change, thanks for the blog.
Cameron -- I'm definitely going to give this a try'
Wallace -- Can't hurt to check this out. Their prices seem so reasonable.
Jim -- don't know. There are so many apps intended for the Iphone series only that aren't on Droid yet, if ever.
David -- I had an iphone, then switched to Droid, and went back to iphone. I also now have an ipad and a MacAir. Guess you can say I've gone over the "dark side".
Bummed that it's not available for the Droid, but, thanks Pacita, for keeping us in the loop for what seems like a useful technology tool!!
Peggy --- let's hope they develop a Droid version of this app. I know you can use it too.
Placita, hmm this may be a good reason to move from iPad one to two! Thank you for info on this new app, Emily from Santa Fe.
Emily
I already have it downloaded on my iphone and ipad. Just have to try it out soon. Can't wait to try out my new toy :)
