Good morning Liz and Bill,
How fun, I love a good antiques show and they seem hard to come by anymore. Great local blog!
Lisa, If you love antiques, our area is the jackpot for you. Both downtown Lebanon and Waynesville have dozens of antique stores lining the downtown streets. This show will be some of these shops, but obviously plenty of out of state dealers visiting too.
BLiz the 69th Annual Lebanon Antiques Show January 21 & 22 2012 sounds like a very good way to find the perfect piece of furniture to complete a home. My wife loves antiques and would be like a kid in a candy store at this event! Make it a great day in all you do and best regards from the Q!
John, Lots of opportunity here for either that just right piece of furniture or some decorative items to help complete a home. Hope you have a fantastic week!
Good morning Elizabeth and Bill. Sounds just wonderful! This is my passion and I wish it were closer. I hope you enjoy it too.
Good morning, BLiz. I like looking through antique stores. I was in one the other day and they wanted to keep me as they thought I was antique...
Sheila, Prime opportunity to shop for antiques if you ever find yourself out this way :)
Michael, I notice the same going through the stores and seeing all my childhood toys on display! Hey!!! Stop that!
☔ Bliz, sounds like a heck of a show! I love going to these shows too and 'remebering when'! Then again, you never know what treasures you'll find.
Happy New Year to you both!
Pamela
Pamela, True! The one thing about antique shops is they all hold different surprises and you just never know what will strike your fancy. Always interesting seeing the history inside them.
I just like to browse around. Like Anita, I don't own any antiques, but even just browsing through a lot of things takes me back to when I was a little girl at my grandmother's house.
I love to stop at antique shops from time to time ... you just never know what you're going to find. They just don't make stuff like that anymore :) Well, I'm too far to attend this show but it sounds like a good time!
Anita, We have a few items here and there we've picked up, mostly in Rhode Island and Charleston, SC when we first got married.
Charita, Same here :) Fun to just look and remember in many cases.
Carie, And if you happen to find a unique gift for someone, all the better :)
This sounds like a great event. I love antiques and would love to go if I were in your area. Nice to know though.
BLiz~I love to shop for antiques..although my husband says I have no where else to put anything so I should stop looking..LOL!
Debra, A nice opportunity for the antique hunters in our area!
Melissa, Then you need to buy a bigger house! I know of at least one great agent in your area :)
