In addition to being a hugely successful novelist and short story writer, Stephen King also had what is my favorite quote about being successful. He was asked about the secret to success, and his answer was "The secret is to be in the right place at the right time. Since we can never know what the right time is, you have to get in the right place and stay there".
For Stephen King when he was starting out, the "right place" meant sitting down in front of the typewriter every day, whether he was "in the mood" or not, researching places to submit his work, and systematically submitting his writing to potential publishers.
So, where is the "right place" for Realtors? In front of someone who is thinking about buying or selling real estate!

How many past clients do you have? How many friends and family members locally? Chances are, someone you know is going to have a conversation this week with someone who is thinking about moving. What are you doing today to make sure that your name comes up in that conversation?
