This post is more an edification for myself, as much as anything, since I’m never quite sure how to handle the driving scenario of stopped school buses with flashing lights when I am driving in the opposite direction. I always stop, erring on the side of caution, but sometimes I get a feeling that the person behind me is annoyed, or I still see others continuing along.
So…I actually looked it up and will share my new knowledge. The law is that you must stop when you are going in either direction except when there is a divided highway (a median). I realize I have been stopping too often ~ how about you? Did you know how this law applied?
