14 Comments on Veterans, Thank You

Keith & Robin - You may have written the most heartfelt Thank You for our veterans I have ever heard!  Thank you for writing it and saying what we all feel!

Very well said.  I am also appreciative of all those serving today and having served in the past.

Keith,

Great post. The veterans and active duty military sure deserve a thanks. Baseball and Apple Pie - thanks vets - we would be eating something else and watching another sport if it wasn't for the heroes of WWII and all other wars our vets have served in.

Keith It is a shame that we treat our veterans as poorly as we do in a time of need or rehabilitation - we send them to war, but make it difficult for them to receive medical help, Karen

I am glad to comment on this post. Veterans day is a time to reflect on what we have, what has been fought for, and what needs to still be protected. I would like to remember our many fathers, sons and family members who have served so that we can live int this country..Happy Veterans Day ALL

Thank you from the very bottom of my heart.  I appreciate all men and women who have served or are currently serving.  If not for them, I would not have the freedom that I enjoy and cherish today.  My dad served in the Korean War, my uncle in World War II and my brother during Vietnam and he lost a highshool friend in Vietnam, Stanley Ur.  I've never forgotten it and I was barely a teen then.  This country owes every veteran more than we can ever repay.  Thank you and God Bless Each One.

Keith and Robin - thanks for posting this and giving us a way to comment.

Keith & Robin,
Thank you for your tribute to our veterans.  There is no way we can ever repay them for all the sacrifices they made for all of us.  They are all heroes.

Thanks for the tribute Keith and Robin ... I came home from Vietnam for a year-long recovery from combat wounds and was then the first infantry office permitted to stay on active duty as an amputee -- and as a vet, I can tell you that we never know just how to respond when someone like you expresses your appreciation. BUT -- keep doing it! It's important. God bless you and God bless every service member AND their families who serve on the front line of freedom.
