A Bigger, Better and Stronger Blogger
Bigger: When it comes to building Bigger Muscles, the body must be gradually trained to handle more weight. By adding too much weight too quickly, muscles may tear because of an overload. Overtraining is also a frequent cause for muscles not being able to grow. Muscles require rest. Training too hard and too often is counter-productive to growth. In business, we must learn to manage what we are doing before adding more. We may need to STOP doing something that we are not prepared to handle, at this time. We cannot take on more, until we can manage what we are already doing. Taking a step back may be the right step toward moving forward.
In the past year, I've added several websites, blogs and videos. I've also written hundreds of posts to attract readers. My Internet Presence is definitely Bigger, but it needs to get Better.
Better: When training our bodies by performing the same movement over and over again, we are doing repetitions. By increasing the number of repetitions in a set of exercises, we condition our body for endurance. However, only by doing each exercise the right way, with proper form, can we guarantee the best overall results. In business, the key to getting better at what we do, is to learn more about and become more efficient at doing our job. This involves reading, attending classes or Webinars, learning from others and implementing effective procedures. In addition, we must master the skills and obtain the proper tools, software or assistance required.
In the past year I've learned a lot about Blogging, however it's only the beginning.
Stronger: The size of our muscles are mostly determined by our diet. When do we eat, what do we eat, how much do we eat and how often do we eat? Size may be an indication, but does not determine strength.
How strong is your content, your links and your overall Internet Presence? Having a lot of sites and blogs with incomplete or no profiles and infrequent activity, is an indication of poor Personal Internet Presence Management. Having all of our energy focused on one site is also less productive.
Our goal should be to pump up ALL of our Sites and Blogs, feed all of them with quality content on a regular schedule while watching our Online Business grow. It's time to grow Stronger.
This is the foundation from which to build.
