Kate - welcome to the club. Looks like we are trying to avoid winter. Isn't it funny?
Kate, it's never too early to dream about the tulips and summer flowers. Before you know it, they are here!!!
Last year, a Weather Channel reporter was her in Chicago during "snowmegedon" and thunder-snow while, near-by, people were stranded for 10-15 hours on an expressway adjacent to Lake Michigan. Earlier this year, the city, began cutting escape turnarounds into that same expressway. Maybe the turnarounds will be needed next year. So far this year, the people who were stranded last year are spending this year walking around in shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops --- in January!
It has been an easy winter so far but I'm with you. I can't wait for longer days and flowers! xxoo
Kate--What's wrong with the weather? Eveyone is asking the same question, but still we are enjoying the difference from just a year ago. I haven't worn shorts and flip flops but I haven't had to pull the boots out of the closet. Maybe we can break another record a season without boots in Erie, PA.

I pass through every time I drive from DC to Richmond. I am curious now after seeing your photo of homes - maybe I''ll add some time on my way to look around.
