Can you believe it is Spring already? Okay, not quite. If you are anything like me, in the Spring you can't wait for the Holiday season & all of the great get togethers as well as extra time with family & friends. Then when the holidays are over you can't wait for Spring & begin to rethink your strategy if you plan on selling your home at the peak of the buyers market. I will tell you it may be time to accelerate your plans & list your home earlier than usual this year. It is just the last week of January & we are having Spring like weather. As a result,I am seeing that our office is busy, the phones are ringing, buyers are out looking at homes & they are selling!

People that look at homes this time of year are serious buyers!
Serious buyers have fewer homes to choose from this time of year & less competition means more money for you!
Since the supply of homes that come on the market in the Spring will dramatically increase in the Spring there will be more competing homes & may be less demand for your particular home!
January is traditionally the month for employees to begin new jobs. Since transferees can't wait for Spring to buy, you must be on the market now to capture this market!
You can sell now for more money & ask for an extended closing date if needed!
By selling now you have an opportunity to be a non-contingent buyer during the Spring when many houses are on the market for less money. This will allow you to sell high & buy low!
