THIS IS NOT YOUR MOTHER'S LIBRARY

And these are not your mother's librarians. For the past two years the Prince William County Public Library Cartwheelers have been the "showstoppers" at local parades. This is one of the many methods Library Director and fellow Rotarian Dick Murphy uses to publicize the library system. They do not ride Harleys like Shriners or mounted police units, but they get a lot of enthusiastic applause as they do their routine. The library system is constantly improving its' services to include online availability of books and reference material. Our county's libraries are a widely used resource. Kay, that is too cute but where are the books? I am a HUGE book reader so anything to promote library is GREAT!! I read to my kids practically from the womb and they are also both big book readers. I would much rather read a book than watch television.
