Pet store puppies come from horrific puppy mills. The only way to stop puppy mills is to close the stores. Our top pet stores, Petco and Petsmart all have gone humane. They used to sell dogs and cats but realized where they were coming from and now host adoption events instead. It's time the other pet stores followed suit. There are 9 pet stores in Dupage County Illinois that sell dogs and cats.

* Irvine California bans the sales of dogs and cats.
* Albuquerque, New Mexico banned the sale of cats and dogs.
* Austin, Texas banned the sale of dogs and cats.
* Coral Gables, Florida banned the sale of dogs only.
* El Paso, Texas banned the sale of dogs and cats.
* Flagler Beach, Florida banned the sale of all animals and breeding.
* Fountain, Colorado banned the sale of cats and dogs.
* Glendale, California banned the sale of dogs and cats.
* Hemosa Beach, Florida banned the sale of dogs and cats.
* Lake Worth, Florida banned the sale of dogs and cats.
* Lauderdale Lakes, Florida banned the sale of dogs only.
* North Bay Village, Florida banned the sale of dogs only.
* Opa-Locka, Florida banned the sale of dogs only.
