According to the Daily Freeman, Public access TV for Northern Dutchess Area known locally as PANDA has been relocated from Rhinebeck to the village of Tivoli.  The station is now housed in a rustic 1870 Barn that has been updated with fiber optic cable.

The station services the Red Hook, Rhinebeck and  Tivoli communities, thus these municipalities provides some funding.

One important function of the station is to cover the various meetings held at the town and village halls.  This give  members of the community a chance to see what is happening in town even if they can't find the time to visit a town board meeting.

The public suggestion as to how to make the station even more useful to the community is welcome.

Jennifer, we have the same thing broadcast by our cable provider on a public station.  It is amazing how many people watch it, especially the Common Council Meetings.

Ray - Read at your leisure, just good to see you around the rain again.

Cynthia - I appreciate the public station.  Just last night I watched a documentary on the Hudson valley featuring the Old homes and their famous owners.
