How great!
You now really have your hands full, I am sure you know that?
all the best
your friend in Charlottesville
What a cutie. I would name her "Quirky"....kind of like Alba Quirky. But, I am weird.
Whatever you come up with, she is a beauty, like her "big" sister.
John, what an adorable little puppy, here are a few names as follows: Pixie, Ebony, Rain, Sunny, Precious, Pearl, Sienna, Cocoa, Tawny, Mahogany, Coffee, Amber and last but not least Jewel.
I want one!!! :) How about Stella? That's a bit like Bella.
How adorable. I could hug either one for days!! As for a name thats a hard one. It almost takes seeing her personality before you can come up with a name. Sounds like you and Debbie have an afinity for Southern names..Dixie..Bella so I would stick with that. besides Bella is really cute. Baby girl and Bella girl. perfect!! :0)
What a beauty, and how fortunate you are! I love my Scottish Terrier, but my Schnauzer was the doggie love of my life. They are so smart and have sooooo much character. I remember the head cocked and I could just hear him say 'hunh?' And he would follow and sit in my lap. My Scottie is an aloof dog!
John, how wonderful. I am glad you two are doing this. I saw the photo of Dixie the other day and she was just amazing all covered with snow. They do like having someone to play with. We got our Golden for our Cocker. It only took about five years from them to bond. I would be so amaizing seeming them out enjoying the setting Sun together. It will be fun!
Hi Angela, We had thought of the rhyming names but worried calling one would call them both, they are smart dogs but they may confuse them. Scolding one when the other has doing nothing wrong...well, we really don't scold but you know what I mean. Dixie will be thrilled or pissed, one of the other..LOL
Charles, That's what I am afraid of, two means trouble with a capital T.
Hi Ron, Hmmm Quirky ehh? Let me see..Here Quirky, come on Quirky lets go Quirky..LOL Uh NO!
Hi Carlotta, All great names, I liked Cocoa but our next door neighbors dog has that name and its as white as snow..LOL
Hi Kerri, Stella..well reminds me too much of a friend of mines Mom..she was nice enough but..NO! :@)
Hi Martha, We did that with Dixie, we got her first then tried to find a personality trait..the southern thing comes because my lovely bride is very southern..Mrs. Alabama that why you may hear us bragging about BAMA Roll Tide, you know the BCS National Champions from last night..yeah those guys. Lordy, she is southern! But I'm thinking if the pups are gonna be southern BELLA works.
Hi Vickie, You know it took me about 5yrs to convince my bride that we needed a dog, she was adamant that it wasn't gonna happen, well she caved with Dixie and now LOVES her like a child and um it her that wants a baby sister..Dixie could care less! Schnauzers are very smart, so lovable and so easy to care for. We love them!
Hi Jeanean, Wow 5 yrs. We would be just sick if that happens. We are hoping Dixie will kick right into Mama mode and teach the young one the ropes around here. Dixie was a breeze to train, heck she trained us..LOL
Hi John, After losing BABE right after Christmas...I was considering a puppy but will be fostering for the next couple of months. Will see after that. Love your new fur-baby... both are beauties and oh so lucky!
John ~ the new baby sister for Dixie is adorable!! I love the name Bella ... it describes her perfectly. Please keep us updated once she arrives for Dixie's birthday!
John, What a cutie! We have a Yorkie named Bella and she rules the roost. How exciting to get a new little puppy.
John, both dogs are just precious, and I do like the name Bella for new sis!
Hi John! Awww.... the new puppy is adorable! My sister-in-law has a schnauzer that we dog-sit occasionally, and she is the best dog - so well behaved and loving. I'm sure Dixie will teach her new sister lots of tricks!
John, I'm glad that you introduced Dixie's baby sister --- she really is a cutie.I'll try to think of a good name and let you know if I come up with anything.
John- can you hear my "AH--H-H-H" How cute! I love the name Bella as well. Can't wait to see pics of Dixie and Baby Girl together.
Oh she is adorable. Bella-Girl and Baby-Girl will the BEST of Girl Friends! :)))
John - she is the cutest puppy and so tiny! I like the name Daisy or Darla............and they both go with Dixie. Best of luck - being a new dad is going to keep you up at night! Get your sleep in now while you can - lol. Take lot's of pictures because as you know, she's going to grow like a weed! So cute - have fun with her!
Nothing like a new puppy to bring lots of new energy into your life. Great picture and story. Keep us posted on all that happens next.
Hi John, What a cutie. As for a name , how about Chick, then you would have Dixie & Chick ( not to be confused with Dixie Chicks, :-)
