Raven's Fever Is Everywhere This Week!!

Go Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are in the playoffs and are set to play the Houston Texans this weekend with home field advantage at M&T Stadium in Baltimore. The town is painting itself purple for this game and the roar of excitement gets louder by the day.

I live in a split team home. I am a Redskins fan (okay no jokes please) and hubby is a Ravens fan. This past Christmas Eve he and our grandson Brandon had free tickets to a Ravens game and both were flying high. It was an experience that they will treasure for ages.

But I must say it's hard not to get into the spirit when purple is everywhere this week. So I will bite the bullet and cheer on our Baltimore Ravens.

Go Ravens!!!

Oh Ellie...of course not. Would I have preferred the Redskins?? You betcha but the Ravens are a great team (actually much better than the Redskins) and like I said...its hard NOT to get into the excitement when it is everywhere! LOL

Hi Martha - I can say "Go purple" too because we have the Kings (basketball). When we were worried that the Kings might be moving to another city that was willing to offer them all kinds of stuff, we turned Sacramento purple to convince them to stay. As for football, I'm a Rams fan - primarily becuae I had season tickets for many years when they were in L.A. and I kept rooting for them even when they abandoned me for St. Louis.
