
It is a know fact that 7-10 people have negative items on their credit...
Does that mean that you give them an earful of credit advice and your business card and send them along their way? I was at the NAMB West Convention last week, and to my surprise I found that of all the mortgage professionals I spoke to, most of them do exactly that!
These "clients" often times are in their bad credit situations due to shear irresponsibility (laziness) for lack of a better term. And to give a client some credit advice and hope they come back to you is like handing a bicycle without training wheels to a 2 yr. old and saying... "Good luck!"
