According to Nancy’s own word:
“I fell in love with this area when I was a kid and grew up in Claremont. I am a very active person and I enjoy exploring the great outdoors. I get a lot of inspiration for my photography while hiking. I have framed and matted outdoor pictures available.

I also have a passion for the make believe and for making people feel good about themselves. Through this, I began taking pictures of females of all ages with the specific purpose of helping them to realize their own individual beauty.

There is a large variety of costumes and dressup clothes available for little girls of all ages and size 2 to 22 for women. When we do the dress up sessions, we include makeup to enhance the natural beauty, as well as offering hair and nail services. Each dress up session is different depending on the subject. We have many different props including feather boas, hats, crowns, etc.

I recently began a partnership with my longtime friend and coworker, David Rice. We merged Photography by Nanci and PicturesNow and changed the name to N & D Photography.

We have added a mobile photography lab which enables us to go to events, such as car shows, reunions, etc. With our mobile lab, we have the option of displaying our pictures on a large monitor during the event. People can choose their favorites and we can print on site.

We are also in the process of setting up a studio in Conover. The studio will be open for business in the next few weeks.
