Central Florida Sees Little Effect With High Cost Of Heating.

While the Northeastern part of the country is bracing for the up coming winter season, all of us here in Central Florida actually see a reduction in our utility bills. Most of our power demand is used during the hot summer months while we run our air conditioning. The Winter months bring us relief and in most cases we see a reduction in our energy usage.

The average homeowner here in Florida can weather a few days of a cold snap with little or no heat used if need be. Homeowners in Maine do not have that luxury when it is -11 degrees outside. And with heating Oil above $3.00 a gallon, it could be devastating to families on a fixed income in the Northeast.

I guess this is why we see all the Snow Birds come down to Florida.. to find cheaper heat..
