Hi everyone -
Many of you might've noticed the ActiveRain outage tonight (Nov. 12th). We fervently called everyone to get our systems in check only to find out the entire data center, where our servers are located, blew a transformer and suffered a complete outage. Apparently there was an accident outside of the datacenter killing the power and cooling systems for the data center...
We want to apologize for this and want to let the community know that we did our best even with hands tied. That said, we will be following up with our data center folks in a "post-mortem" session and will have say in how to come back quicker, if not go down at all, in this type of scenario in the future. The blown transformer and coolant systems threw the fall-backs in for a loop...
Thanks folks -
Jerry
Jonathan: Thanks....geez...you wouldn't believe the stuff that flew over my head yesterday....good thing you didn't mind explaining it again....differently :)

I'm glad you guys were on top of it as fast as you were and it shows you are pro-active to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Jerry,
It was nice to meet you at The Crib!
Did you like the picture of you at the bar that I put up in my post?
You are a wild one!
Lucky :)
I thought my computer was broken or that is was my Internet connection. I know that was a headache, and I hope you got things straightened out.
