My younger sister has a friend who is a RABID Obama supporter so they rarely talk about politics.....until her friend mentioned that she LIKED Romney because he founded STAPLES (office supply UBER store).
I advised my sister that although it is good that "Sue" is looking for alternatives in next year's election, she is still swallowing the LIBERAL line that Romney CREATED Staples (therefore caused people to loose jobs, etc) as well as the other BAIN companies that downsized and where people lost jobs.....and therefore is entitled to the pats and slaps of his years at Bain.
Romney is not my FIRST choice for GOP presidential condender; however, I do think that his experience with Bain is EXACTLY what we need in the White House.
During his years at Bain, Romney identified INVESTMENT opportunities for Bain's investors and proceeded to do his job MAKING THEM PROFITABLE.
Two rivals in the supermarket biz in New England identified the problem with buying office supplies for their businesses and brought their idea for an office products all-in-one store to Bain for financing.
The year of it's 10th anniversaty, Staples was in the Fortune 500.
Again, Romney is not my first choice for GOP nominee * sorry, Rick * his Bain experience is exactly what America needs - WE NEED a President who can IDENTIFY Good Investments * Good Investment partner countries * Good Investments for OUR TAX DOLLAR$ * Good Investments PERIOD!
As a property manager, I am often at the tail end of a problem - the property has been MISmanaged * poor tenant selection * poor maintenance * poor management policies. YES! I'd LOVE to have the property from the Get-GO and DO IT RIGHT * My Way; however, the challenges and opportunities are why I am often NEEDED * for my EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE.
...I think ROMNEY may be JUST WHO WE NEED to turn this Country/Property around and make it PROFITABLE.
