Do it one at a time

When you look at the road in front of you it can appear to be overwhelming and your goals can look out of reach.

When you become overwhelmed it can shut down your thought process and can bring out your negative emotions. Your forward progress comes to a grinding halt and you can feel like you’re standing alone and exposed to the elements.

Mother Teresa quote is a philosophy that can be applied to many areas of our life and businesses.

It’s very easy to get overwhelmed in any profession.

A example could be; you have planned your day in advance and before you go to bed you put your next day’s schedule  into your planner and your’ll be ready to go in the morning. 

The sun comes up and you step out of bed eager to face the day.

As your preparing to step into the shower the telephone rings. It’s the co-operating sales professional calling you to let you know there’s a problem with a short sale that will require your immediate attention.

On your way to your first appointment for the day with a home inspector you receive a call from the homeowner they’re calling to tell you that they have to reschedule the inspection until later in the day.

As your changing the schedule for the home inspection and working on the short sale you receive a call from the leader that they will need an additional document before they can close the mortgage and they need before the end of the day.

As your trying to keep all the balls is the air your 2:00 appointment calls and asks you change the appointment to 1:00 to show then the home.

I’m sure that we can we relate to this type of day.

You can feel overwhelmed and like the walls around you are caving in on you.

You can only do what you can do and you can only do one thing at one time. Prioritize the order of importance what has to be done. Ask for help where it’s available. And work with the people who are requesting the changes and come up with a revised schedule to the best of you ability.    

When your pushing to do to many things at one time what your doing can suffer from the lack of focus and scuttled efforts. Do one thing at a time do the most important thing first and do it with excellences and everyone will come out a winner.
