Cottonwood Arizona is located at the foot of the Mingus Mountain and with about 10,000 residents, Cottonwood has many amenities for anyone looking to settle down here. Located on the Verde River, this Park offers tent and RV camping, swimming in the river, picnic sites, fishing and boating, famous bird-watching trips and several trailheads that can lead you on a short stroll or a overnight trek. Bring your bike, your walking shoes, or of course, your horse, to traverse the many trails in Dead Horse Ranch Park.
The Verde Valley Fair is an essential part of life in the Verde Valley. Every May, this small-town fair offers locals and visitors alike thrill rides and fair food. During the fair you can also view prize winning livestock, 4-H projects and more.
