What a great experience to go through buying a house for myself and selling my own house! I am going to notice what all I do for myself during this time and see if I can add those services to all my clients in a meaningful way. Before, it may have seemed like a waste of money to give change of address cards, etc. But now I see those can really be helpful. In fact, I am going to order some change of address postcards for myself, but just as I say that, I am wondering if the Post Office already has something like that. The things I think are helpful:
1. Change of Address cards
2. List of what to do during a move (moving guide)
3. List of vendors that can provide junk removal, boxes, packing, transport, etc.
4. List of utility providers
5. List and map of local restaurants, libraries, parks, etc.
