This is the only known photograph of the blogger here on the Rain known as Ron Marshall.
Ron joined at the end of September 2010 at my invitation. He has far exceed my expectations of what he would do in the Rain, and his as well.
Ron is closing in on 200,000 points. That isn't too bad for someone who got off to an exceedingly slow start. He barely commented or posted a blog entry in the first three months. But, he is a blogging fool now.
He tells me that it is just something that starts as an itch, and he has to scratch it. I guess that is one way to describe what we go through as we think of things to post about!
Ron has enjoyed his time here, and his subscribers and the rest of us enjoy his comments. He has a dry wit which I always look forward to seeing in print.
Ron got his first feature the other day, and when I heard him talk about it, it sounded like Christmas all over again.
Ron makes birdhouse that are replicas of local landmarks, and he does environmentally-friendly trashouts. So, if you are in Wright, Sherburne, or Anoka Counties, please keep him in mind.
