Welcome to Pomona Park Condominiums also known as Richard Court in Pomona, New York.
This condominium complex was built in 1973. It consists of one level condominiums on either the first floor or the second floor. The condos are either 1 or 2 bedroom units, with 1, 1.5 or 2 bathrooms. They range in square footage from 949 to 1271 square feet.
These units are bright and airy.
They either have parking spaces located near them or they have garages. As you can see from the picture below, many units are easily accessible and have parking spots conveniently located in the front of the building.
Some of the units have fireplaces to enjoy on those cold winter days and nights.
All the units have their own individual washers and dryers within them.
They have sliders that lead to decks, many of which have lovely courtyard or mountain views.
The landscaping is lush. There are many ornamental trees and beautiful perennial and annual flowers and shrubs.
Pomona Park Condominiums has many amenities, including a beautiful outdoor pool with dramatic mountain views and a picnic area, a kiddie pool, a playground, and a clubhouse with a kitchen and a party room.
Relax on the deck overlooking the pool or in the clubhouse lounge at Richard Court.
Throw a party or go to one, in the clubhouse party room, which has an adjoining clubhouse kitchen.
Bring your pets with you when you move to Richard Court. As a pet lover, I am glad to say that pets are allowed.
At the time of the writing of this article, there are 10 condos available. Five of the units are one bedroom, 1 to 1.5 bath condos, ranging in list price from $150,000 to $220,000. The five other condos are 2 bedroom, 1.5 to 2 bath units, on the market for between $159,000 and $199,000.
In 2011, six units sold, ranging in price from $164,000 to $195,000.
Residents of this complex are close to transportation, shopping, restaurants and a golf course, too!
Pomona, New York is close to Route 202 and the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP). It is a short trip on the PIP to the NYS thruway (Route 87)which leads east to the Tappan Zee bridge to Westchester, Connecticut and New York City, or west to I-287 and the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey.
There are many commuter options available when living in Pomona, including a ferry that goes from Haverstraw, NY to Ossining, NY where you can take the railroad into New York City. There are buses to NYC, too.
Residents living in the Town of Haverstraw can enjoy all of Haverstraw's facilities, including beautiful Bowline Point Park and the Haverstraw Marina. Bowline Point Park is a special treat. It has tennis courts, a waterslide, an adult pool, a kiddie pool, a sprinkler park, picnic and barbecue areas, playgrounds and great views of mountains and the Hudson River. Harverstraw Marina has a pool by the Hudson that you can enjoy, with a membership fee. It has a restaurant there, too. I have enjoyed a number of meals at the restaurant, sitting outside and watching the sailboats on the river float by.
