Real Estate Forecast for 2012!
This is a re-post. I was disappointed by the limited response to my original post. I am assuming that since it was posted December 29th, many were still more into the holidays than getting into the swing of a new year. So here goes:
Ok, I have an idea. We can listen to the "negative news sells", crowd or we can weigh in ourselves.
So this will be an informal poll of Active Rainers (non real estate professionals too please!) on what they think 2012 will bring!
I would like to know:
1. Did your local sales increase in 2011?
2. Did prices increase or decrease and by how much?
· 0-5%
· 0-10%
· 10+%
3. Will sales increase or decrease in 2012?
4. Will prices increase or decrease for 2012 and how much?
· 0-5%
· 0-10%
· 10+%
5. Lastly, leave your city/region and state.
If I get enough responses I will "compile" the results and post in a future post! Maybe even do a follow up survey this time next year to see if we can beat the "negative news" prognosticators.

1. Sales increased slightly
2. Prices decreased ~10%
3. Sales will increase in 2012
4. Prices will increase 0-10%
