Picture and a Memory - Kim Caron

Kim Caron

This weekend, I helped my team (Keller Williams Luxury Division) set up our booth for the Barrett Jackson show. As I walked down the tent isles, memories rushed back. From the General Lee car to old time gas pumps to Bob's big boy.... the pictures/images washed over me, reminding me how very lucky I am.

Born the year Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, I can remember a time before the reality tv, Justin Bieber, smart phones, blue food, 24/7 news, Google, Facebook, helmets, Lindsay Lohan, YouTube, and Kim Kardashian, and 9/11.

I have seen a great deal and am still amazed and inspired by innovations, renovations, come-backs (David Hassleholf for example), rebounds (real estate market), and the American resolve.

Here's to the past, today, and the future.

Grateful to be here and can't wait for the sun to rise this morning.

Good morning Kim,

What a sweet post.  And what a great remembrance list.  Life really has changed a lot in the past 30-40 years. The best we can do is live it to it's fullest and be grateful for our days.

Bob's Big Boy, I remember that one too.  Sounds like it was a great trip down memory lane.

Sometimes I am amazed at what came and when since the mid 70's when I graduated from high school. I'm thinking beepers then pagers, glad I am not a repairman of those now looking for work.
